1. What data we collect

1.1 Free tools (300+ calculators, candlestick encyclopedia, lottery browsing)

All calculators run entirely in your browser using front-end technology. Numbers you enter (loan amounts, health data, etc.) are processed locally and never sent to or stored on our servers.

1.2 Member accounts & Taiwan stock subscription ("Line Shang You Wei")

• Email address (registration and subscription)
• Password (stored encrypted)
• IP address (for daily free-query limits)
• Query history (stock ticker, query time)
• Payment information (processed by ECPay; we never store your card number)

1.3 Third-party login (Google)

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive the email and basic account info you authorize, used solely to create and verify your member identity. We never receive your Google password.

1.4 Portfolio tracking

If you use portfolio tracking, we store the stock tickers and cost basis you enter, solely for your own profit/loss and technical analysis view.

1.5 Price alerts & push notifications

If you set a price alert, we store the ticker, target price, and browser/device push subscription key, used to notify you when conditions are met.

1.6 Forums & chat

If you post, comment, or use the live chat, your nickname and message content are stored, displayed publicly, and linked to your account. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information in public posts.

1.7 Contact form

Your name, email, and message submitted via our contact form are used only to respond to your inquiry.

1.8 Referral program

If you use the referral program, we record the referrer's and referee's email addresses and the referee's registration IP address, used to issue rewards and prevent abuse.

1.9 Site-wide

• Browser language setting (to auto-display the matching language version)
• Cookie consent choice (your preference on personalized ad cookies)
• General traffic statistics (page views, no personally identifiable information)

2. How we use your data

• Providing free tools, articles, lottery information, and Taiwan stock analysis
• Member account management and identity verification
• Sending service notices, subscription confirmations/reminders, and price-alert pushes
• Displaying content in your preferred language
• Operating forums and chat, issuing referral rewards
• Responding to contact form inquiries
• Improving our services and preventing abuse or fraud

3. Legal basis for processing

For users in the EU/EEA, our legal bases for processing personal data are:

• Contract performance: account registration, subscription payment, portfolio tracking, price alerts, etc. — necessary to provide services you request
• Legitimate interests: preventing query abuse, fraud prevention, service improvement
• Your consent: non-essential cookies, ad personalization, newsletters — you may withdraw consent at any time
• Legal obligations: tax and payment-related regulatory requirements (e.g., retaining transaction records)

4. Data retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes collected:

• Member account data: kept while the account is active; deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after account deletion, unless legally required otherwise
• Query logs / IP addresses: generally retained no more than 90 days
• Payment and transaction records: retained per accounting/tax regulations (typically 5–7 years)
• Contact form messages: retained 1 year for follow-up, then deleted
• Forum/chat posts: retained while the account is active; due to technical constraints some historical posts may persist briefly after account deletion, and we make reasonable efforts to remove them

5. Advertising & Cookies

We display ads via Google AdSense, which may use cookies to show ads relevant to your browsing behavior. You can block cookies in your browser settings or adjust ad personalization via Google's ad settings. On your first visit we show a cookie consent option; you may accept or decline non-essential cookies, and clear or withdraw consent at any time.

6. Data protection & transfers

• Passwords are stored encrypted; our staff cannot read the original password
• Data is stored on secure cloud servers
• We never sell or rent your personal data to third parties
• If data must be transferred outside the EEA (e.g., to the US) for service purposes, we take reasonable safeguards
